October

October is always busier than most months & on top of that I seem to add so many other commitments. October is the month of Thanksgiving here in Canada. We have so much to be thankful. I am so thankful for our 5 beautiful, healthy children. I am thankful for 5 helpers.

I asked Simon if he could fill my flour container for me. He had no idea that he had flour on his face but he did tell me that it was a messy job:)

Simon is my crafty guy. he loves to make crafts & has always enjoyed this. Lately he really enjoys making cards with me & asks me almost daily if we can make cards together. I am not always able to make cards so he makes them by himself.

He made both of these cards with no help at all.

I planned & hosted(at a neighbor's house) a baby shower for Amy & Brooke. That was the start to my busy month. On Ocotober 5th I was ready for October to be over. Part of that was my fault for agreeingto lead a Moms & Tots bible study(which I really enjoy) & lead storytime as well as participate in a kids clothing sale.

Next year I will say no to everything so I can just focus on birthdays.

I added this picture because as I came across it in the October pictures, it just said "Thankful".

I looked at the picture & said, "I am so thankful".

On Thanksgiving Monday we had my parents, sister & family over for Turkey dinner.

Nice to get together.

(and use Grandma's table all together)
