Ogema

As I mentioned in the previous post, we ventured over to Ogema to spend some time with Grandma & Grandpa West. We had lunch & supper with them. She always feeds us well.

It was a cold windy day but we went out for a little walk to give Gma & Gpa a bit of a break, some peace & quiet.
I love the picture below, the boys jumping & Calleigh posing nicely on the tire.

We attempted a family picture, attempt is always the key word.
Right after the picture the wind came up so strong & it began to rain so we ran back to the house.

Grnadma wanted a picture of the kids together. That is not an easy task so I decided to strap the twins into their booster seats then take the picture.LOL

And one with Gma & Gpa but by this point the twins were "done"

At the Stephenson Farm

I am finally getting this post done. I have been trying for days now & blogger keeps giving me trouble. I am right on par though. I usually update the blog one month behind so here I am telling you about our trip to Lang, one month ago.

We had a wonderful stay with Aunt Roberta & Uncle Larry. I always enjoyed visiting there as a child (and I visited often). Now I don't get to visit as often but still do enjoy my time spent there.

Calleigh with baby Eli(Darren & Meghan's 2nd boy, 2 months old)

We had a nice relaxing time there or as relaxing as it can be with 5 kids. Simon & Calleigh enjoyed doing crafts with Auntie Roberta.

Coloring:

And a game of Mancala: (I still haven't figured it out)

And more crafts:

Molly had a litter of pups. Calleigh loved them.

(and Simon even pet one of them, for those who don't know Simon is very afraid of dogs & cats)

Before we headed to Ogema for the day, Aunt Roberta took the kids for a ride through the water. Good thing they did it that morning because the next day we spent at the farm but the weather was ugly. It was SO windy.

Lots of fun!!

Leah reading with Uncle Larry as Lauryn watches.

The twins loved baby Eli

Ezekiel(Eli's big brother), Micah & Simon

Zeke & Calleigh

We all enjoyed our stay there but as always it was nice to get home. At home I can lay the babies down for a nap & relax if I want. I just can't do that at other people's houses.

Happy Birthday Grandma Heiberg

I have always wanted to spend Grandma's birthday with her & this year we were able to. She had a birthday party the weekend before(Easter) which we were unable to attend so we went the following weekend on her actual birthday. It was hard to visit with 5 kids but it was still great to be with her. Grandma was still so tired from her party & extra company the weekend before.

A favorite a Grnadma's house is this puppet. Can you tell Calleigh is excited?

Tried to get a picture with all 5 kids but the twins were not interested so we got a better one with the 3 older kids.

Down South

To some, down south refers to the states. For us, it refers to Lang. We took a little trip down there at the end of April. There was/is a lot of water down there. here is the Quappelle Valley:(the tops of fence posts were just sticking out)

Our stop in Regina on the way down, at McDonald's:

Cousin Alexis was visiting with her Dora quad. The twins loved it. We had just received our new camera so I was trying ti out. I am very happy with the vibrant colors. I like to have a camera that I can carry with me eveywhere we go, either in my pocket or it the stroller.

Easter

We attempted to get a family picture on Easter Sunday but it didn't work so well but here is the attempt:

Then we tried to get a picture of the twins. It is really hard to get 2 to look at the same time, nevermind 5 so I don't have amny pictures of all 5 kids together.

I set them on the chair & 2 seconds later:

Away we go...

Hope you all had a blessed Easter.
