Fall

I love this time of year - the change in temperature, the colors of the leaves, the smells of fall. I just really like this season. Each year I like to get out & do family pictures of some sort. These ones were taken one evening. It was already getting dark so hard to get many good pictures.

The twins in their sweaters from Gr. Grandma Heiberg. I think they look so cute in them.

Show & Tell

Simon has show & tell every Friday and one week he chose to take the twins for show & tell.

Again he was so quiet(just like in K)
The teacher was surprised that he wouldn't talk or answer questions.

Simon was proud to show off his baby sisters

Before we left, Simon had to show Leah his desk.

Just An Ordinary Day(s)

The boys like to have fun with the twins:

Does she remind you of a 1980's girl?
Before Calleigh fell asleep she put hair bands, which she uses as bracelets, on her ankles.
Lauryn was learning to stand. She would stand then cry beacsue she was stuck but now, at almost 9 months, she stands up to everything, no problem. It is that many more things she can reach & get into. Leah just follows behind her at all times, just watching & learning.

Leah sleeping at the table:

Lauryn & Leah just love being together & they are so much fun to watch.
yesterday, Leah slept a bit longer than Lauryn at nap time. I brought Lauryn out to the living room & she was lost. She kept looking all around & crawling down the hallway looking for Leah.
There definately is something special about a twins bond.
Laundry seems to be my life lately. We go through so many clothes, especially the twins.

80

Bryan's Grandma celebrated her 80th birthday on September 24th. We had a family celebration the next day, exactly one year from the day she went in for her heart surgery.
Micah & Simon were the "welcoming committee" at the door.

I made her a scrapbook, from all of the family.

We all enjoyed a wonderful chinese food meal.

The kids LOVE Uncle Cory.

We are so thankful for Grandma and we thank God for all that He has brought her through this past year.

Kids Carnival

There was a kids carnival hosted by a church(EBC) here in town. We all went as a family & had a great time. The kids enjoyed all the games. It was a beautiful September day.

Silly Girls

These girls bring so much joy to my life each and every day. They are such blessings & I tell them that. I didn't do an 8 month photo shoot but I will update you a little bit now.

This picture was taken in the church nursery. No, I did not lay them down this way in the crib. They just love being together & they do not let each other get more than an arm length away most of the time.

Their differences right now:

Lauryn has 2 bottom teeth, Leah has one, has the 2nd one just coming in now
Lauryn is the leader, Leah is the follower
Lauryn crawls on her hands & knees, Leah on her tummy
Lauryn smiles big but no sounds, Leah is more vocal & likes to "growl"
Lauryn sits up, Leah doesn't(she can but chooses not to)

They are so much fun to watch!!

Dress Up

One day before school, the boys decided to dress the twins up & Micah took these pictures.
