We're Home
We are glad to be home. We have been at the hospital in Prince Albert since Wednesday, May 23rd. I was induced 4 times. With each induction came labor but no progression. The final labor was 7 hours long & by far the hardest of any of my labors. At 2:30 AM, we were blessed with the birth of our baby GIRL, Calleigh Ann. For those of you who were asking, it is pronouced with a soft a. (Cal-ee) Home Sweet Home !!!!!
Getting ready to leave the hospital.........Calleigh in her PINK outfit from Daddy & the blanket from Micah. Notice how I am emphasizing pink & girl???? We are overjoyed to have our precious baby girl. She truly is a little blessing.
There will be more photos to come.........

Has It Been That Long?
May 2oth marked 10 years that Bryan has been with Andres Cleaners. It is a great place to work. 10 years already......he started there on May 20/1997 just shortly after we met. So that means we've known each other that long as well. It has been a great 10 years.
I don't have any pictures of Bryan hard at work and he is probably glad for that.

Weather #3
Read these in reverse order. There are 3 posts about our weather today.
I said in a previous post that it was +27 here yesterday. Today it is -1. Quite a change. Here is our apple tree which had blossoms on it yesterday. Now they are covered by snow. The barn has icicles hanging from it. We even had an overhang of snow on the roof of our house today....May 18th.
This is taken from our family room window facing north.
The pictures hardly do justice. You really have to be here to believe it.
I'm sure glad that I'm not camping this weekend. How 'bout you?

That Was Then, This Is Now
These are a continuation of our weather today.
There are before & after pictures now. These are taken about 3 hours later then the post below. You wanted to see my flower bed, Jen. Well here it is....

May 18th??????
It can't possibly be May 18th with weather like this. This is what it looks like at our place today. It was +27 yesterday and today it is -1 and snowing.
The previous 2 were taken from our front door. Below is our deck............
And a view from our front living room window. These were taken earlier this morning. There is much more snow now. As I look out the window it looks more like March than May.
It is May long weekend. What better time to go to the hospital than now????

Happy Mother's Day
.......to each and every Mother out there. If you are a mother, you are blessed.
I am so blessed to have my boys. Micah is 5 1/2 and Simon is 2 1/2 and they are so very precious to me.
I think that too often we take our loved ones for granted. On Mother's day, everyone honors mothers and tell them how much they appreciate them. Why not, as mothers, think about your children and tell them how much you appreciate and love them?
"Children are a heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward" Psalms 127:3
Give thanks today for the blessing of children. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!

Micah's Big Adventure
Micah is in his glory here. I was hoping to post a little video but I can't upload it so the pictures will have to do.
Micah was at Grandma S's farm all day yesterday and was thrilled to be able to drive the "snappy" tractor. Here is Micah showing me how to start it up.
And away he goes, all over the yard. He would've stayed on there all night if he could. Daddy was getting jealous so he had to go for a ride too. He took Simon along and let him steer. Simon thought it was great. "Look at me Mom"
"Best Buds", waiting for uncle to fuel up the tractor for another ride.

This is One Busy Boy
This is my Simon and he sure is busy as you can see. He climbed up on his book shelf and emptied the whole shelf in a matter of 5 minutes. Of course once he is up there he can't get back down. So I help him down & start to clean up the mess. Where is Simon? Oh, in the kitchen, helping himself to juice. He is Mr. Independent. Everything is "me do" and you don't dare try to help him. It is amazing how 2 boys can be so different. He does things that Micah wouldn't even dream of.
Earlier in the week, Simon had gotten into Glysomed cream and emptied the whole container. He had cream on his hands, feet, and legs and on the carpet of course. I wish I had a picture to share. He looked so cute sitting there. It was hard not smile when I was telling him that wasn't a good thing to do.
The next day we found cloths in the bathtub with what we thought was kool-aid. No, Simon had emptied the whole bottle of Tropical Punch shampoo in the tub, not while bathing. He did try to clean it up though.
This makes it sound like we don't watch Simon very closely. We do but he gets in these messes in only a couple of minutes. He can make messes alot faster than I can clean up.

The Waiting Game
Baby has been busy the last couple of days and has turned himself/herself to the proper position. Therefore, he/she is no longer breech which means no c-section. I know that people were praying for this. God answers prayer & He takes good care of me.
Now we just have to wait for baby to arrive. There is still a variance in my due dates which is rather frustrating. I am now asking you to pray that I will go into labor on my own & won't have to be induced.
Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers, and concerns.
