Long Day

Calleigh must've played hard at Tina's while I was at work. They came home for supper. Bryan said it looked like Calleigh was looking for something but she had fallen asleep.

Summer

I am behind in my blogging. Really, it is someone else's fault because I don't put the pictures onto the computer.
We have had a busy month. I am back to work now and am enjoying my new position. Micah has finished soccer now and has his last day of school today. This makes me a little sad. He has had a great year with a very good teacher. It'll be nice to have him home for the summer. By August, he'll be couting down the days until he goes back. We aren't planning to go on our usual holiday this year. We'll enjoy just being together.

It's a First

This was our first time swimming this year and Calleigh's very first time in a pool. To begin with, I had all 3 clinging to my neck.

Calleigh loved the water. She was kicking her feet, splashing with her hands, clapping and saying, "Hi" to all the kids.

Big Girl

Calleigh has graduated from her infant seat to her big seat & she really likes to be able to see what's going on. She likes to watch the DVD player too.

Her first ride in the seat, we went to the regional park & for a little drive. She sang herself to sleep. It was funny to watch. She was trying to watch Dora but her eyes just wouldn't stay open. She kept trying to open them, all the while going, "ahhhhhhhhhh".

Micah is a sports nut. He loves to watch sports. He studies all the stats on sportsnet. He also loves to play sports. He plays soccer 2x a week with Bryan as coach. Here he is in the blue, #3.

Summer Fun

It is finally nice enough to eat supper on the deck so we try to take advantage of days with no wind & no bugs.

May 26

On Calleigh's actual birthday, the 5 of us had our own little party. I just baked an angel food cake & make the icing with Nutriwhip, raspberry jello & crushed pineapple. It is a nice light recipe.
Mmmm, more cake.
I just had to show you that fistful. I figured since it was her birthday, I'd just let her eat how she likes & then straight to the tub.
It's all gone.
This is one of her favorite little games. She puts her bib or a cloth on her head & plays peek & says, "hi-eeee"

We had a little party after church last Sunday evening with people from church. Amy made this cake for Calleigh.
