"Micah works very hard on his school work! He is a great listener and is willing to share his ideas. Keep working hard, Micah!"
Micah received Student of the Month for January and the above paragraph is what his teacher wrote on his certificate.
The theme for assembly was "Hat Day". He was awarded "Student of the Month" at assembly on Friday and was also given a free ticket to the Hawks(hockey) game for that night.
Micah really enjoys school and he attends a great school. He is our learning bug. He just loves to learn. In his spare time, he does workbooks and is really interested in math doing double digit addition & subtraction. He also loves to play games. His favorite is Diego Pop & Go(Trouble). He plays it day & night, by himself, being all 4 players.
We are proud of you Micah and we love you.

On the Move
Calleigh started to creep yesterday and she is really moving now. She slithers like a snake using her right arm and left foot to push. She is going all over now. Simon was getting frustrated this morning when Calleigh was touching his toys. Let the fun begin......

Calleigh has had a rough week. She had her immunizations, got a cold, and teething all at the same time. She just hasn't been herself. I had been holding her all day for a few days in a row. I just wanted a rest for a bit so I put her in the swing while I vacuumed. When she is in the swing now she sits right up and leans forward. She loves the sound of the vacuum. It soothes her and it soothed her right to sleep.
Calleigh is 15lbs 3.5 oz, 26 inches at 7 months old.
Her new thing is sitting up by herself. She loves to sit and play with her toys and gets frustrated when on her tummy because she can't go anywhere. She likes the view from this position.
She is just waking up from a nap here.
The boys are also suffering from a bit of a cold. Nothing major. Micah went back to school this week, after the holidays. He was happy to be back. This week they start skating with the school.
When Simon was 2, we wondered if he would ever talk. In no time he started and in full sentences and he doesn't stop. Heis a little chatterbox & comes up with funny sayings. He makes me laugh. His new made up word is "fluffy milk". That is egg nog for those of you who don't speak Simon language. He really likes "fluffy milk". Too bad the season is done & he won't get anymore for another year. By then it may not be "fluffy milk" anymore. Although treat milk(choc milk) is still treat milk to Micah.

Klatt Christmas
We had Christmas with my side on the 28th at Mom & Dad's. Here is Simon, Micah, and Katelynn. The boys are wearing their clothes from Gr. Gma & Gpa W. Thank you. You didn't even know that Simon loves "inside toats", otherwise known as a vest.Dad was happy to receive 2 Roughrider shirts. Bryan told him not to wash it too much because it has to last 20 years(until their next Grey Cup). LOL
Playing with the race track from Grandma & Grandpa Klatt.
