Weekend Visitors

My brother, Derek & his girlfriend, Pam came for a visit a couple weekends ago. Heidi & Tim were away but the kids were with Mom & Dad so we all had supper together.

Derek & Pam brought gifts for the kids. One of the gifts were these Air Hogs styrofoam planes for the boys. They all had fun with them & still are.

I figured that it has been awhile since I added a twin picture so here you go:

They are 3 months old today. I will add more pics soon of their 3 month photo shoot.

Spring!!

We have been enjoying beautiful spring weather. Most years, the bikes are still in the shed in April but this year we have them out and the kids are riding them everyday.

Calleigh can really ride on her trike but we just go around the boulevard with her so we aren't too far from home. She does well but I think it is time for a bigger bike.

This was the first time out on bikes this year. Simon still had his training wheels on.

But, not anymore. First try & he was off. He was giggling and had a perma grin. He caught right on & i think he was surprised at how easy it was.(Micah took a lot longer to learn this)

Now he wants to ride his bike everywhere, everyday so I let them ride their bikes to school for the first time today.(I walked - I am enjoying our new stroller so much)

These Gymboree dresses were gifts from my forever friends, Laurie & Jen. They are 0-3 months but as you can see, they are like christening dresses on them so they'll be wearing them for awhile yet, a long time past 3 months.

A Day At the Park

We have had some beautiful weather this month and the park is now dry (or was until the last 3 days of rain).

I seem to always be posting to pics of just the twins. They are easier to get photos of. They stay still. I have yet to get a good picture of all 5 kids. But I caught some good ones at the park of Micah, Simon, & Calleigh.

Easter Weekend

Hope you all had a great Easter.

We have been having nice spring weather and have been enjoying the sunshine. One of our traditions for Easter is Hot Cross Buns (click on the word for the recipe). I make them every year and only once a year.(good thing because I could eat the whole pan) I usually make a batch on Good Friday morning and we also color eggs that day. Coloring eggs is a reminder of new life - new life that we have in Jesus.

We tried to get a picture with all 5 kids to no avail so here's what we've got.

We kept setting them up but they kept falling over. It was funny to watch. Simon said that they are like dominoes.

These Please Mum dresses are from Auntie Heidi & Uncle Tim. They are NB size but are still pretty big so they'll probably still wear them at 6 months.

We took advantage of the nice weather and took the girls for their first walk.
