Just More Shots

"My sister & me, best friends we will be"

(The girls have intertwined their own hands)

Calleigh put this sticker on Leah's head while she was in the swing.
Calleigh loves her sisters but sometimes needs to be reminded to be gentle.

Home Sweet Home

We were discharged from the hospital on Monday, the 25th. It had stormed all day Saturday & Sunday. The snow had quit by Sunday but the roads weren't great. It was so nice to just get home.

Lauryn & Leah, Leah was not too happy about the seat.

We turned the corner to come home & here were the boys playing outside building a tunnel & a fort. We could barely drive down our street to get home. We thought we might have a winter with very little snow but we have LOTS now.

The girls love to be snuggled together & this is how they nap.

Christmas Day

When we were done opening gifts at home, we headed over to Bryan's parents. As I was looking through these pictures, I realized that I really didn't take many pictures of the gift opening. Simon took lots, just walking around the house. He took pictures of the individual gifts, decorations and people. There were lots of pics taken by him.
"Dora" was the theme for Calleigh this year.

All on his own, Simon lined up his gifts and was taking pictures of them so I told him to get in the picture & I would take one of him.

Then he did the same with Calleigh's(some of them)

Calleigh's twin babies & the stroller she received. She named the twin babies, Rachel & Sarah.

We had a nice Christmas & hope you did too.

Christmas Morning

I was up and showered by 6am and Micah was up early waiting & waiting for the others to wake up. It was 8:30 by the time everyone was up & getting into the stockings.

Calleigh opened these up & said, "Oh, just what I wanted"

Simon is starting to get into sports too and feels a little left out at times.
He asked why Micah got a jersey & he didn't "because I like sports too, you know"

Simon asked for Lightning McQueen so he received lots of that. Micah bought him a LM cell phone which he loves.

We bought Calleigh a Dora comforter for her bed as well as Princess sheets and a CD player for her room. She loved the sheets & wanted them opened right away. She rolled around on the floor with them.
AND AND AND
She is now sleeping in her own bed. We put a CD on for her & she goes to sleep on her own,
just like brothers. Phew!!

Christmas Eve

Our usual Christmas Eve tradition is to go out to Bryan's Grandma's farm and have cheese rolls. This year was a bit different becasue Grandma is staying in town with Bryan's parents. So we went over there for supper(cheese rolls), games and home videos.

I have started a "tradition" of giving the kids pjamas on Christmas Eve.
The boys got hockey pjs & Calleigh got princess ones.

The boys with "Gee Gamma"

Time for slush. Mmmm.

Christmas Photo Shoot

Each year I like to try to get a family picture or a picture of the kids. We have a hard time getting a good family picture therefore we hardly have any.
Here are some of the photos from this year's attempt:

It is difficult to get a good picture of Calleigh because she likes to make silly faces all the time.
Here is a better one:

Christmas Preparations

I didn't do much baking for the Christmas this year. I did do Nuts & Bolts, Poppycock & Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies.

At the Andres Christmas party, I received an Gingerbread House kit. This is the first time I have ever done a Gingerbread house with the kids. They had lots of fun. Cake & cookie decorating is not my thing at all.
