I didn't do much baking for the Christmas this year. I did do Nuts & Bolts, Poppycock & Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies.
At the Andres Christmas party, I received an Gingerbread House kit. This is the first time I have ever done a Gingerbread house with the kids. They had lots of fun. Cake & cookie decorating is not my thing at all.
For the life of me, I am no good at those Gingerbread Houses. I bought one last Christmas for the first time - the train kit - which I think turned out decent. But the house one I bought this year - sheesh, do you think I could get it to stand up? Nope - one side of the roof slid off after decorating it... the little figures in the front I couldn't get to stand up straight... how pathetic am I?! LOL.
Good for you for doing it with the kids even though it's not your thing - yours looks great!!
(how was your back, BTW, reaching over the babies to roll the cream cheese cookie dough out?!)
