A Day with Family

We were finally able to go to Heidi & Tim's yesterday.
We took dinner out there & spent the day with them.
We had a nice day & the kids played so well together.
All day today, Calleigh is saying, "Jada"

Micah & Katelynn are very much alike. They both like to play games, do workbooks, math questions. Katelynn was asking Bryan to ask them some addition & subtraction questions. Simon & Jada are a lot alike as well & they played with "Pinky Pie" & her My Little Pony House. Calleigh was happy to follow them around wherever they went.

This is how I spent the day, snuggling with Jaken. I did let Heidi feed him & Bryan & Tim hold him for a bit too. He slept & slept. (that's when they grow)

Bryan holding Jaken. He is wearing the 3-5lb sleeper that we gave him. You can see the sleeves rolled up. His feet are getting to the ends now.

Comfy?

I don't know about you but this wouldn't be my first choice of sleeping positions.
I was on my way to bed one night & noticed Simon sound asleep, standing.

Changes

1. I took down the curtains & they are staying down.
2. It snowed so now I have started decorating. The Christmas music is playing.
3. I painted the one wall in the living room. I'll post a pic later.
Notice Calleigh in the chair. I am not sure how she did it but she is inside her hamper up on the chair.

Student of the Month

Micah shows respect for others in our classroom by always working quietly and including others. he is willing to partner with all students and is quick to help out in the classroom. You are a great role model. I am proud of you Micah!
These were the words on Micah's student of the month certificate written by his teacher. The assembly was on Oct 31st & we missed it. Micah chose not to go because he didn't like the halloween songs being sung. The teacher didn't tell us that he was getting the certificate. So not only did we miss the presentation, Micah did as well, which was unfortunate.
We are proud of you too Micah!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Sorry that I am so late at posting.
We had a "happy" halloween. Micah stayed home from school in the afternoon(his choice) so we baked cookies before going to the nursing home to see the residents there. Calleigh was right into it, along with the boys, lifting her arm up to receive treats. This little horsey just played out.
We ended the evening at my parents but he didn't quite make it.
