School's Out

Micah and his class went swimming on their last day of school. Here he is telling me it's cold when he gets out.

Mr. Lorenz & Micah.
He is an excellent kindergarten teacher. Micah really liked him for a teacher. In fact, he liked him so much that he is now cheering for Mr. Lorenz's team - the Roughriders. Shhhh, don't tell Daddy.

Kindergarten Diploma.......it is so hard to believe that the school year is done already. Where did the time go? Micah is excited for grade one and can hardly wait to go back(we've only been out for a couple days - it could be a long summer) He is looking forward to going to school everyday. Micah loves to learn.

One Month

Calleigh Ann Hildebrandt.......born May 26th.

Here she is, one month later. This picture was taken on Friday.
She is our precious doll. It is amazing how you can love your children so much. And you don't have to grow to love them, you love them right away. What a special gift children are.

Surprise

Thursday, June 21st was our WM(Women's Ministries) windup. They ladies surprised me with a baby shower for Calleigh. I had no idea. It was a wonderful surprise.

The boys showed up with Mama(Bryan's Mom) and Great Grandma Schriener. My Mom also came.

We were blessed with many gifts. We had also received some by mail and from others.
Thank you to all of you for the beautiful gifts.

Show and Tell

Micah had his last show & tell for kindergarten on Tuesday. He chose Calleigh as his show & tell. He was so proud of his baby sister. Unfortunately, Calleigh was ready to go to sleep so she wasn't too happy. They enjoyed having her there anyway.

Brotherly Love

I just had to post this one. It is actually the only picture I have of all 3 together. Calleigh didn't like Micah putting his arm around her but Micah loves her and just wanted to show some affection. Simon is saying, "Shhhhh, it's okay (T)alleigh".

Week Three

Calleigh is 3 weeks old already. Here she is wearing an outfit that Jen sent to her. I am posting this one for you, Jen.

Calleigh loves the dryer. It calms her right down and puts her to sleep. The moment the dryer stops, she starts to squirm. I start the next load and Calleigh is back to sleep. She also likes the sound of the blow dryer.
Here she is in her pretty dress, all ready for church.

Thank you, Bryan

I am not much of a reader but at the end of my pregnancy I just didn't feel well and I wanted something to keep my mind off of having baby so I borrowed a book, a novel at that. I do not ever read novels. I borrowed book #1 from Abram's Daughters series by Beverly Lewis. I really enjoyed the book & it didn't take me very long to read it. Then I wanted to read the rest in the series but didn't have access to it. Today, I received the entire series in the mail, thanks to my wonderful husband.

Now I can sit like this, cuddle with my baby and read.

Our Sweet Calleigh Ann

Here she is......2 weeks old. I know that there are some of you that faithfully check our blog so I thought I better give you a new picture to see.

Sleeping Babies

I love to watch my children sleep. They look so peaceful and content.

Here is Micah on Saturday, having an afternoon nap after helping Daddy outside. It is amazing how the boys can go from fighting and screaming to being so quiet......
Here is where Simon had his afternoon nap yesterday, at the kitchen table.
And precious Calleigh girl. She slept the whole time we were out and about yesterday. That was a huge help for me.

So Proud

Micah received 'Student of the Month' for May. I attend all the assemblies at his school but for May I had to miss it for Calleigh's sake. I was in labor at the time. Bryan called home & he told me about this just before Calleigh entered the world. I was so proud of Micah & felt so bad that I wasn't there.

The certificate reads, "Micah is polite, friendly, and takes care in his daily work."

One Week Old

We have a very good first week with our precious girl. Here she is, 1 week old, with her pink bunny from Uncle Andrew.

The boys are doing so well with Calleigh. Simon is a wonderful big brother. He is always talking to her, kissing her, and loving her.
Calleigh is a sleepy girl. She slept most of the day today. It was 29* here today. We went out for our first walk. The mosquitos are so bad so thankfully we got a mosquito net for the stroller.
There she is....Calleigh Ann....1 week old. She is so very precious.
