The Best Dress Up Day of the Year

October 31st was a beautiful day(as you can tell in the pics). I took the girls to the school for the costume parade then we had a family party at home. We were focusing on the fact that it is better than to give than to receive so the kids handed out candy, pencils, & freezies to the other children.

Calleigh was a ballerina.

Leah was a bee.

Lauryn was Little Red Riding Hood

The girls received some candy from Simon's classroom.

We baked pumpkin cookies, made caremel dipped apples and homeade pizza.

(Micah grating the cheese or "graning" it as Calleigh calls it)

We also carved these little pumpkins & put a candle in to remind us to be a light.
We enjoyed having this special time at home as family.
