Every year since 1999, the year we were married, we have travelled to Red Deer for holidays, with the exception of last year when the twins were 6 months old. I think last year would have been easier to travel than this year. We go for Canada's Gospel Music Celebration.

Two years ago when we were in Red Deer we found this great park so we made sure to take the kids there a couple of times.

We tried to get a family picture on the "bongo drums". I had it propped on the stroller but it wasn't high enough. Oh well, I tried.

The twins were really out of sorts. They only napped 2 short naps(a max of 20 minutes) on our all day drive to Red Deer. Then we arrived & they were afraid of the hotel room, elevator & the playpen so they barely napped while in Red Deer & didn't go to bed well at night.
"Mom, take a picture of me"

The twins love going to the park and they have no fear.
They climb all over, up & down the slides.
We spent 3 nights at the Westerner for concerts as well as 2 afternoon matinees, one for Jubilee(3 groups together) and a pianorama(4 pianos).

We love to go to Red Deer every year and are so glad that our children have the opportunity to attend such an event of encouragement and one of eternal value. The boys are right into it and they request to have their picture taken with certain people.

Chris Allman of Greater Vision & Simon

Trey Ivey, piano player for Legacy Five with Micah. As we were leaving Micah went over to Trey to say that he liked his piano playing & to thank him & say "see you next year".

Simon, Calleigh & Micah with 17 year old, Philip Collingsworth.
We all love the Collingsworth family.
Calleigh especially loves Olivia.

Scott Fowler of Legacy Five with Micah

"Buddy" Rodney Griffin from Greater Vision with Micah. Micah has a picture of him & Rodney when Micah was only 9 months old, just days before Micah was put into traction for his hip. Micah would always call Rodney "Buddy" as he looked at the picture or looked through the Singing News Magazine. He has a special place in our hearts.
This year was the best year at Red Deer.
The line up of groups were great and the atmosphere was wonderful.
