Canada Day

We have kind of made it a tradition to go to Pasquia Park on Canada Day. It is a great place for children. They have a great new park/play aparatus including this little teeter totter type thing that the twins are on. They loved it saying "ahhh, ahhh" & rocking it themselves.

They had some games for the kids. Simon & Calleigh did the sack races & beat all the kids in their age groups. We had no idea that they were so good at sack racing.

We had a picnic lunch and while eating the clouds came over, the wind started to blow & it rained. It was only for a short time but it was still too chilly to swim. We were able to get in a game of mini golf though. The twins had fun as well, watching the golf balls go down the last hole.

And an ice cream treat before we headed home.

This was the first time we gave the twins their own & they sure enjoyed it.
