Welcome to Canada

Along with school starting we had a busy week with company. We were delighted to have Bryan's sister, Carmen, her husband Nate and baby Liam come for a visit. It had been almost 2 years since they were last here.(Calleigh was only 5 months old) We had never seen/met Liam before so we were happy to have them visiting for a few days.

After Simon's 1st day of school, we rushed home, made Zucchini brownies and headed to the farm for a weiner roast. We had beautiful weather the whole time they were here.

Simon just loved Liam and wanted to hold him all the time but Liam wasn't so sure about that.
One of the favorite things to do at the farm is go for a "bmm, bmm ride"

(Micah started calling it that as a baby & it has just stuck)
Liam had his first ride & enjoyed it.

Of course with Liam coming to Canada for the first time, we had to buy him a Canada hat. He kept it on until his Mom said "Nice hat, Liam". Normally he doesn't like to keep a hat on his head, like most babies.

Bryan was thrilled to spend time with his nephew Liam and Liam liked his uncle Bryan.
Bryan took Liam for a walk down the lane and he fell asleep in Bryan's arms.
