We made our annual holiday trip to Red Deer a few weeks ago.( I am behind on blogging-sorry)On our way to Red Deer, we drove through some rain and at one point there were vehicles stopped on the side of the road because of the poor visability.

We had such a nice holiday. Other years we have done so much rushing around and shopping but this year we did a bit of shopping but spent the afternoons in the hotel. We all napped then went for a swim each day.

Simon loved the "hot pool" and only the hot pool. HE stayed right on the steps of the big pool most of the time. Bryan did get him in the pool a bit but he was scared & held on for his life. As you can see, he is choking Bryan.

Calleigh was total opposite. We put her in that ring & she swam all over the pool by herself. She figured out how to kick her legs to make her go & how to turn. She loved the pool.

In the mall, the kids got 3 free rides because a lady was testing the ride.

Our reason for going to Red Deer each year is for the Canadian Gospel Music Celebration. My favorite group this year was the Whisnant's.

The Hunter Family from Shaunovan, SK.

The Booth Brothers
(the kids favorite-thay would wait all night for these guys)

Simon with Michael Booth

We found this park on the last day in Red Deer. It was huge, the biggest park the kids had ever played at. Too bad we hadn't found it sooner. Now we know for next time.
