Finally, an update

It has been awhile since I have done a post. The sidebar states that this blog is to keep you up to date with our family & I sure haven't been doing a very good job of that. I kind of feel like I have nothing to post & that nothing is happening here.

Well, Calleigh keeps our lives interesting. Last Thursday she fell off the top of the boys' bunk beds. We went to the chiropractor & she is fine. She had a bit of a black eye for a few days. Earlier this week, she had a mouth full of stickpins/headpins. I was putting a load of laundry in the washer & I sat Calleigh on the dryer beside me. There were some pins on the dryer & she put them in her mouth. I caught her doing this. She started to cry but I think it was moreso from me scaring her. I was worried that she may have swallowed one. She went to sleep shortly after this incident & slept for 3.5 hours. That is so unlike Calleigh. She was good the rest of the day but woke up in the night crying "ouchy" and had a cough like I have never heard. Now, I really was worried. It turned out to be the start of a cold/cough. As I type this I am cuddling Calleigh. She is sleeping but she wakes up & cries with every cough.

Simon was asked to be a ring bearer for Matthew & Janice's wedding so he is excited about that. He is my little helper. I am enjoying & cherishing this time with him before he goes to school in the fall.

Micah has hockey, hockey, and hockey on his brain. He plays it downstairs everyday, most of the time by himself. As I type, the 3 "boys" are at a Hawks(hockey) game.

I just enjoyed 10 days off. They went by so fast. I really like my position at work. Bryan would like to figure out a way that I could just stay home yet get paid.
