Everyone slept in on Christmas morning. When I was a child I was up by 5 looking at our stockings & trying to wake up Heidi & Derek. It seemed as though we had to drag my parents out of bed. It was likely only 8 AM but it seemed so late as a child.
Calleigh was right into Christmas this year. Here she is checking out her stocking, with her new pj's on. I meant to get a pic of all 3 with their pj's on. The boys were already dressed though.
Where's Calleigh? "Peek a boo" is what she is saying with one of her new Dora baskets. Micah, wearing his MC jersey.
Micah got a NHL stats book. How exciting, hey? He loves it. And Simon got a Bible to take to Sunday School. This was the year for hockey. Micah got these goalie pads & has been playing hockey everyday since then. He times the games, the periods & intermissions. It is serious business around here.
Notice the lamp in the background? Well, I got new ones for Christmas & love them.
For Simon, it was "Lightnin Matween" year.We went over to Bryan's parents at 10:30 to open gifts.

When we were kids were up as early as 5 Am too! :) I am sure the time will come when our kids do that!
My kids didn't sleep in as late as yours but it was after 7. I think I was laying there awake, waiting for them. I think it is so exciting to watch the kids open their gifts!
What a fun age for Calleigh to be interested in Christmas! Isaac was too, but once he opened a gift he wanted to play with just that one gift, and got frustrated that we wanted him to not play with the gift but keep opening more :)
Your boys look very very pleased with what they got! That's great!

The second picture... I glanced at it two times and both times I thought it was this HUGE stocking with some big blue gift coming out the top... when I actually looked I could see the red was not a stocking but Calleigh... LOL. Cute! :)
