An Early Christmas

I'm not sure what is with blogger lately but it reverses the order of the pictures and it won't let me upload any videos, no matter what the size.
As you can see, we will be having a white Christmas &
that is the way Christmas has to be, for me.My princess niece, Jada.
She is 3 and loves to dress up in princess dresses. When she was over a few weeks ago, she asked if I had any princess dresses then said, "Aunty Jamie, I think you should get some princess dresses"
Sidenote: this just reminded me of something that Simon said one day. Bryan asked Simon what he wanted for Christmas. Simon didn't want anything for himself but he wanted "a dress for Mommy, a pretty princess dress". How thoughtful!!

We had our "Klatt Christmas" yesterday. It was a great day just spending time together. We were planning to go sledding & for a sleigh ride but -30 is just a little too cold to be playing outside so instead we played inside.

This rocking horse was Dad's(Warren) when he was about Simon's age.
It has been a favorite toy for a few generations. Uncle Bryan bought the girls a Barbie Movie (The Christmas Carol) and gave it to them early so they could watch it right after we ate. The adults played Mad Gab. Some of us adults anyway. Notice the inlaws(Bryan & Tim) were the ones sleeping or pretending to be so they didn't have to play. We laughed a lot as we played Mad Gab. How did they ever come up with that game anyway? Everytime I play it I ask, how did they think of all these?

Then a good game of Sorry before we opened presents.

More to come....

Looks like you had a lot of fun. I wish that our boys would have cousins living close enough for them to play with at family gatherings.
