There's No Place Like Home

We just returned from 4 days away. We were in Regina, Lang and Ogema. This is what it looked like when we left Nipawin.

When we got to Regina, Micah said, "We went from winter to summer" and he was right. We had beautiful weather down there and NO snow. Here is a picture near Ogema.
We went to see Grandma Heiberg in Lang then over to Ogema to visit with Gradmpa & Grandma West and were surprised by the other relatives there. It was 20+ degrees there. We took advantage of the 'dry' park. Here in Nipawin, it'll be a long time before we can enjoy the parks.
Simon loved it at the park and is going to enjoy it this summer.
Notice that there is NO snow. What a contrast from Nipawin. We were still happy to come home even if it was home to the snow. It is always good to go away but "there is no place like home."

Yea! You got a taste of Spring Jacket weather (or not even if it was 20*, that's awesome!)...and park playing! How fun!
I bet you'll be doing some more posts...look forward to them.
Thanks for showing me some Prairie photos...I appreciate it.
Welcome Home!

WOW! What a difference in weather. My mom kept saying she thought we had a lot of snow too. Although, during the days I was in the hospital....things sure melted down YAY!
