For Christmas, we bought Calleigh a Dora comforter, Princess sheets, and a CD player for her room. This was to encourage her to sleep in her own room. We didn't mind having her sleep in our room our even rocking her to sleep but with the twins on the way, we knew things had to change. We told her that she needed to go to bed like the boys. So from Christmas Day(night), Calleigh has been going to sleep in her own bed and staying there all night. (we put a CD on for her & she looks at a few books & falls asleep)
The other night we found her like this:
When the twins were born, we gave Calleigh a new DVD, "Big Sister Dora" so now she calls herself, "Big Sister Calleigh". She is a good big sister and has adjusted very well to having 2 babies in the house.
She is growing up so fast and seems to be so much more independent since the twins arrived. The other night she wet her bed and she got up quietly, changed her own pjamas and made a bed on the floor for herself. She usually wakes up crying if she has an accident then we change her pjs & make her a bed. It was nice that she did that all on her own.
