The EMS(ambulance) hosted a Teddy Bear Clinic so we braved the cold & went.
Simon could barely wait. He was so excited.
He took 2 teddys this year. He named them Jamie & Bryan. He told me that he had to take both of them because they are best friends & they can't go anywhere without one another. One had a sore arm & one had a sore back so the EMT's bandaged them up.
(The idea of this day is to get children familiar with an ambulance and show them that it is nothing to be scared of.)
Calleigh was not so gung ho to go in the ambulance which I thought was strange because she is the most social of all 3 of our children. She was terrified of the mascot. Once she saw him, she clung to me & wouldn't go in the ambulance but then Simon said that he would taker her doll for her. He did & then she followed but still not too sure about it.
She was happy about the ice cream UNTIL she spotted the mascot way across the room.
Simon loved "Terry the Traumasarus" but he didn't last year.

That's neat that your Amubulance Service offers this Open House for kids!
I like the names Simon gave his teddy's - and how you recorded that he said they can't go anywhere without each other!

I have to say Calleigh has great smiles. And she really looks like such a happy kid! :)
