When we got to Grandma Heiberg's,
Calleigh walked right over to her with her arms stretched out.

We were only able to spend the day with Grandma but we had a fun filled day. Grandma told me that I needed to soak my feet in epsom salts so she went & made me a foot bath. It was a nice treat. I had 4 other little feet join me.

And this was the view from where I was soaking my feet. It was such a nice relaxing afternoon.

You would think that when you go to a small little town, it would be nice & quiet. This is not the case in Lang. The traffic is loud(from the highway) and the trains go whistling through every couple hours(and keep on whistling all night). If that's not enough, there are 3 birds that like to sing, very early in the morning. It is always such a pleasure to stay with Grandma Heiberg, so we can put up with the traffic, trains, & tweet, tweet. The boys are thrilled to hear & see the trains. We don't have trains in Nipawin so the boys run to the french doors every time a train goes by.

My Grandma has always had birds in her house. She has a dove, budgie, & a parakeet.
Daddy was teaching Calleigh to say, "Meow" to the birdies. She is good at copying so she was also saying, "meowwwww"

On our way out to Stephenson's, we took the long way around to drive by the old farm place. This is where I lived for the 1st 3 1/2 years of my life. The house is gone & you can barely even see the lane anymore.

nice title with t's!
What a lovely idea your Grandma had, Jamie... foot bath! Sweet.
So what I remember of Lang or shall I say, what comes to my mind when I hear the name "Lang" is a picture of the water tower there. It was/is orange, right? The things I remember, bizarre!
and if you would have jumped onto any of those trains going by, you could've had a free trip to my house... :)
