Calleigh only likes finger food. She doesn't like to be fed. If I feed her, she spits it out so we just put the food on her tray & let her feed herself. This day, she had fun with her supper. She put it all through her hair. We do put a bib on her but it doesn't last long. She is so proud of herself here.

Gabi is about there too! I find if I put her on my lap I can get her cereal into her after she is "done" eating it in her high chair.
I find it hard to give in, to the messy eat on your own thing. but I do it too...... Isaac loves finger foods too, and enjoys stuff I don't always enjoy LOL (like green beans!). It is nice when they get to this age though......a little easier for us to eat our own meals!
