Valentine's

It is finally nice enough for the boys to play outside. We have had a very cold winter so the boys haven't been outside much but it is 2* here today so they are really engjoying being outside. Micah's skating with school has been cancelled a few times because of the cold weather. They were supposed to go on Valentine's day. Instead they stayed in all day - no skating, no recess and lots of sugar.
This is the pizza that Micah & I made for Valentine's supper.
I didn't set the kids up for this picture. They were just all sitting here nicely but by this picture Calleigh had enough.
We made Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies(recipe on December posts) for storytime then made these cupcakes for Micah's class & Simon's playgroup.

I am reading a book right now, "One Tuesday Morning" by Karen Kingsbury. It is a great book and had me thinking.....do we say "I love you often enough"? I think it is so important to tell our loved ones that we love them.

Have you told someone that you loved them today?

Great post Jamie!

I think you do more on Valentine's day than you say! Your kids all dressed up in red, the cupcakes looked great, baking all the cookies, and pizza.

you can tell your kids are very much loved!

Jamie - I am pretty sure I just bought that same PJ for Gabi, for this coming Christmas! :) Too fun. Is it from EF?
Love your heart pizza - it looks so perfect, too bad the whole wheat crust didn't work out as well as hoped.
And yes, you do do lots to "celebrate" valentines! I agree.
